In a world full of mean spirited girls, where girls perpetuate all the drama, talk behind others’ backs, gossip, mock, break confidences, get others to dislike someone, spread rumors, ostracize, ignore, judge, compete, these are all behaviors of girls who exhibit some sort of frustration within themselves, and who want control over someone. Unfortunately, they gain a façade of power and poor reputations. Little do they know, in the end, these types of girls will all fall before they climb. These hurtful young ladies will only take a path towards self destruction and many times, sabotaging many friendships.
Thank you to the girls who say “come sit with us.” Thank you to the girls who compliment. Thank you to the girls who laugh together and not AT each other. Thank you to the girls who give without expecting in return. Thank you to the girls who don’t form cliques. Thank you to the girls who don’t blame other girls to make themselves look better. Thank you to the girls who don’t dress provocatively to gain negative attention. Thank you to the girls who don’t snap and post pictures of others on social media unknowingly. Thank you to the girls who are kind towards others even though they may not be the best of friends.
And…Thank you to the moms who role model the above behaviors, and teach their own daughters these things. After all, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
