
I’ve been seeing teen and young adult girls in my practice for decades, but I also see the mothers of the girls. These are the same moms, where they put everyone and everything ahead of themselves. As a parent of two daughters, I want the same thing these moms want for their girls - more joy and less stress about food and eating.
Then there’s kids going off to college. Ahh yes, so many unknowns for young adults in their new environment: how will I manage being on my own? How will I fit in? Will I make friends? How do I keep up with all these college classes? Will I gain the Freshman 15?
Not only did I participate in the AM I HUNGRY program, but I recently became a certified facilitator and coach. I realized that I can’t fill anyone’s cup if mine is empty. To have a good life with food freedom is like winning the jackpot. To live a healthy life without diets, pills, or shots is the icing on the cake, and yes, you can have the cake!
